Caterpillar Cages with CLEAR MESH for 4-side Viewing Is my favorite gift. This is really needed and a great gift idea. I want one.
You offer so many great ideas that I want for myself! But I would choose a gift card for my daughter because she is so hard to buy for, she is so very picky but I know I could give a gift card from you and she would use it. Last year she made a homemade cage and had success with three butterflies so I know she’d appreciate one that is easy to use and clean.
Day 11 I would love the Flower and Butterfly planers.. My 94 year old father had a stroke earlier this year and I keep a daily planner next to him to help him know what day it is and what appointments are coming up. I also use one to keep track of his appointments for me and record his vital signs every day.

Day 9 The floral tube & short peg feeding system.
This is a great gift to give or receive.
I already have a set & have a small hole set of lids. They are easy to use & easy to clean. In September I present a Monarch program at our city’s Nature Center. This system travels well! This was the 1st year with no tipped over milkweed containers!
I would love the poo-poo platter! This was my first year raising monarchs and clean up would certainly be easier with that item! By the time that I thought about ordering one it was out of stock. Looking forward to another successful year of raising monarchs!
The butterfly calendar . I would put it on my night table so when I woke up in the morning I would see it immediately — How can I NOT have a great day when i wake up to that?!
I would actually gift the #7 Small PooPoo Platter because people probably don’t realize how important it is to keep the cages clean. And it is a great tool to be able to carry the Poo to a container to make “Caterillar Poo Tea” to water your plants with. I do this every year. I think the Day 12, Gift card, is the best idea. You can use it to get supplies you need or give it to a neighbor that raises and releases over 100 butterflies a year and always needs supplies replenished!
Day 12 (gift cards) would be the gift that I would choose to give. This gift is better because there are many items to choose from, that it would be best to have that person pick out what they may want. If they are a beginner they may want books to help them get started or if they are intermediate or advanced, they may want to gather more supplies.
I think I would most like to receive and give the gift certificates because there are so many great products that it is difficult to choose for someone else. I would probably use my gift card to buy some of the tubes and racks and a tall cage because I have run into problems providing enough milkweed for caterpillars without using one of my potted milkweeds, and they are too tall to fit in the smaller cube I have.
So in love with the INVISImesh Monarch tower!! This would make it so much easier to view the cats grow & grow without moving/jostling the cage. I’ve gotten a few of my coworkers into helping save the monarchs and would love to be able to share this with them too!!
Just as in the first contest, I love all the gifts. I really like the cages with the poo-poo platters. The Milkweed holders are great. The planners are wonderful. The gift I would most like to give or receive is the gift card #12. It is the most practical because the person who receives it can choose which gift they would like.
I work in the public schools in early childhood and started a pollinator garden at my school. I would like the books about butterflies to share with my preschoolers to compliment their knowledge about butterflies and the garden
I think the best gift is a cage, especially the new ones for easy viewing. It’s the first step in starting to raise caterpillars. Frankly, I’d love to see a cage/rack/tubes bundle, which would be perfect for getting started. This is a particularly good gift for teachers who teach the life cycle of insects/butterflies so they can raise them in their classrooms.

I have a journal for all of my seed starting & planting, but my Monarch notes, eggs/cats found, hatching, size instars, chrysalis formed & eclose are on sticky notes. Not good!
I would like another set of short floral racks. I have a few tall racks and only 1 short rack and had to move several chrysalis off the tall posts this past year. The clear mesh tents would be great too since I have no protected outdoor space and raise my cats indoors.
The planner would make a great gift. It can keep you organized which some people could benefit from that.

I would start with a cage as a starter piece . I think that’s what would be needed the most if you want to raise the butterflies. Then you can always add to it.

I would love to receive the Day 9- Floral Tubes & Short Peg Racks System. We created our first butterfly garden this past spring, which is still an expanding work in progress. We had more bees than butterflies this year and ended up rescuing waterlogged bees during a storm! We released them once they were safe and energized. One ended up being a queen! This coming season we are hoping to help butterflies too. This tube and peg system seems absolutely perfect to feed caterpillars in the butterfly houses we already have. We are looking forward to doing our part to help the butterfly population!
Just like 1 commenter said You can never have too many milkweeds, I say you can also never have too many butterfly cages! And the tall baby cage is the perfect size! Sadly, Monarchs did poorly in my area this past season. But the black swallowtails and spicebush swallowtails thrived and helped compensate for the grief- but we ran out of cages! We also had a Tiger Swallowtail and Red Admiral that had to get put in mesh paint strainer nets, who looked at us wondering, Why don’t we get our own cage?
Day 10 – Butterfly Wall Calendar is the gift I would most like to receive! I live for butterflies! I put stickers on my planner, my kitchen cabinets and other things. I gift away butterfly hair clips, stickers & more. But I don’t have a Butterfly Wall Calendar and would LOVE to have one!
Day 9 … floral feeding tubes. I have these & they are awesome!!! I don’t think I could keep up with their feeding habit without them!
I would love to receive or give the caterpillar cage with the viewing window. I raised caterpillars this summer and had success using the caterpillar cages. I would like to be able to use more than one cage. I have a friend who wants to raise caterpillars as well. This would be a great gift.

All of the gifts are great! If I had to pick I would love to give or receive #3 the lamp and/or #5 the flags. I like the lamp because it’s beautiful and a good way to express the beauty of butterflies all year. The flags are a great way to promote butterfly education. I’m amazed at how many people aren’t aware of the plight of the Monarchs. I’m always thrilled to share what I know to others.

I’ve raised monarchs for the past 5 years and this year I had 128 successfully emerge. I have a friend who is my monarch egg supplier (from her many many milkweed plants) and I would love to give her yet another butterfly shirt. I also raise milkweed but my neighbor has a lawn service so unfortunately I don’t get anywhere near the same number of eggs as does my friend. Thank you for all you do on this site.

Any book I find on Butterfly’s, I enjoy sharing with my 5 year old grandson. For the last two years, he has helped me in my pollinator garden plant and care for the Milkweed, eggs, and Caterpillars. He really enjoys releasing the butterflies and sharing what he has learned with all his friends this year in kindergarten.

I think the best Christmas gift is the milkweed seed as I have all of the other stuff that I need, and the milkweed seed not only helps the monarch cause, but hopefully will replenish the supply of food and home for the monarchs as they develop from egg to butterfly.

It’s a hard choice because I love everything butterfly but I love to buy a bunch of the milkweed seed packets. They make great stocking staffers or even attached to the top of packages. That way more people can grow milkweed and that means more monarchs can eat and be healthy!

Definitely the Milkweed seeds! We can talk to people and try to spread the word about how monarchs are endangered, but with the seeds, we can GIFT someone with the solution! I’m a big fan of butterflies, so I would most like to receive the butterfly sweatshirt. It’s so pretty! I hope I win the butterfly cage! My son and I try to raise a few monarchs throughout the summer, and we could really use something better than the big glass jar we currently use.
My personal choice would be the gift bags for seeds. I do many garden club, civic clubs and school group presentations about native plants, gardening for the pollinators and monarchs. I have an abundance of seeds collected from my milkweed plants and would love to use the bags to give seeds to participants in my programs.
It would be the gift of milkweed! I really am deeply concerned about the loss of habitat for Monarchs. I can see the decline in my area over the past 10 years and I know if I don’t act, and attract others to their plight, then it will greatly impact their success. My why includes the above but the real why – I feel called to do it and make a difference.
I read in the email I received that I’m supposed to comment and tell you which of the aforementioned butterfly gifts I would most like to have. I must say that I would love to have all of those fabulous gifts! But if I had to chose one gift, I would choose the seeds. I have a good crop of milkweed growing in my yard every year, and those produce many, many seed pods. I love handing out seeds to everyone in my little town, but I only have one kind of milkweed. I would most like the gift cards for Joyful Butterfly or Etsy, to buy milkweed plants and nectar plants. I have 5 different varieties of milkweed in our yard. I purchased plants from both Etsy and Joyful Butterfly this year, and was happy with my plants. We have a huge backyard that we don’t use, as we are both senior citizens and have health issues. My goal is to turn it into a wildflower oasis for pollinators.

This is such a cool contest, there are just so many great ideas to choose from, it is hard to choose. I would pick the milkweed packets for me and my 8 year old son. He has high functioning autism and we’ve raised and released over 60 monarchs. Due to our last rental, we were not able to do any of that, but now that we moved, we now have a place to plant and an enclosed patio to safely harbor the cocoons. I had a hard time choosing between the butterfly night light and the butterfly books because both are great for our next generation of butterfly lovers. But the butterfly night light is my favorite because it’s personalized and unique and would give comfort and hopefully a love of butterflies to any of the little ones.

I most love the milkweed seeds. I have only one type of milkweed in my garden and have been adding native plants each year. I already have a set & have a small hole set of lids. They are easy to use & easy to clean. In September I present a Monarch program at our city’s Nature Center. This system travels well! This was the 1st year with no tipped over milkweed containers!

I think the Day 12, Gift card, is the best idea. You can use it to get supplies you need or give it to a neighbor that raises and releases over 100 butterflies a year and always needs supplies replenished!
Day 12 (gift cards) would be the gift that I would choose to give. This gift is better because there are many items to choose from, that it would be best to have that person pick out what they may want. If they are a beginner they may want books to help them get started or if they are intermediate or advanced, they may want to gather more supplies.
I think I would most like to receive and give the gift certificates because there are so many great products that it is difficult to choose for someone else. I would probably use my gift card to buy some of the tubes and racks and a tall cage because I have run into problems providing enough milkweed for caterpillars without using one of my potted milkweeds, and they are too tall to fit in the smaller cube I have.
So in love with the INVISImesh Monarch tower!! This would make it so much easier to view the cats grow & grow without moving/jostling the cage. I’ve gotten a few of my coworkers into helping save the monarchs and would love to be able to share this with them too!!

I work in the public schools in early childhood and started a pollinator garden at my school. I would like the books about butterflies to share with my preschoolers to compliment their knowledge about butterflies and the garden
I think the best gift is a cage, especially the new ones for easy viewing. It’s the first step in starting to raise caterpillars. Frankly, I’d love to see a cage/rack/tubes bundle, which would be perfect for getting started. I have a journal for all of my seed starting & planting, but my Monarch notes, eggs/cats found, hatching, size instars, chrysalis formed & eclose are on sticky notes. Not good!
I would like another set of short floral racks. I have a few tall racks and only 1 short rack and had to move several chrysalis off the tall posts this past year. The clear mesh tents would be great too since I have no protected outdoor space and raise my cats indoors.

I would love to receive the Day 9- Floral Tubes & Short Peg Racks System. We created our first butterfly garden this past spring, which is still an expanding work in progress. We had more bees than butterflies this year and ended up rescuing waterlogged bees during a storm! We released them once they were safe and energized. One ended up being a queen! This coming season we are hoping to help butterflies too. This tube and peg system seems absolutely perfect to feed caterpillars in the butterfly houses we already have. We are looking forward to doing our part to help the butterfly population!
Just like 1 commenter said You can never have too many milkweeds, I say you can also never have too many butterfly cages! And the tall baby cage is the perfect size! Sadly, Monarchs did poorly in my area this past season. But the black swallowtails and spicebush swallowtails thrived and helped compensate for the grief- but we ran out of cages! We also had a Tiger Swallowtail and Red Admiral that had to get put in mesh paint strainer nets, who looked at us wondering, Why don’t we get our own cage?
Day 10 – Butterfly Wall Calendar is the gift I would most like to receive! I live for butterflies! I put stickers on my planner, my kitchen cabinets and other things. I gift away butterfly hair clips, stickers & more. But I don’t have a Butterfly Wall Calendar and would LOVE to have one!

I like the lamp because it’s beautiful and a good way to express the beauty of butterflies all year. The flags are a great way to promote butterfly education. I’ve raised monarchs for the past 5 years and this year I had 128 successfully emerge. I have a friend who is my monarch egg supplier (from her many many milkweed plants) and I would love to give her yet another butterfly shirt. Any book I find on Butterfly’s, I enjoy sharing with my 5 year old grandson. For the last two years, he has helped me in my pollinator garden plant and care for the Milkweed, eggs, and Caterpillars. It’s a hard choice because I love everything butterfly but I love to buy a bunch of the milkweed seed packets. They make great stocking staffers or even attached to the top of packages. That way more people can grow milkweed and that means more monarchs can eat and be healthy!

I’m a big fan of butterflies, so I would most like to receive the butterfly sweatshirt. It’s so pretty! I hope I win the butterfly cage! My son and I try to raise a few monarchs throughout the summer, and we could really use something better than the big glass jar we currently use.
My personal choice would be the gift bags for seeds. I do many garden club, civic clubs and school group presentations about native plants, gardening for the pollinators and monarchs. I have an abundance of seeds collected from my milkweed plants and would love to use the bags to give seeds to participants in my programs.
It would be the gift of milkweed! I really am deeply concerned about the loss of habitat for Monarchs. I can see the decline in my area over the past 10 years and I know if I don’t act, and attract others to their plight, then it will greatly impact their success. Without milkweed, that can’t happen. Together we can preserve Milkweed and Monarchs so that future generations can enjoy them as much as we do!

This is such a cool contest, there are just so many great ideas to choose from, it is hard to choose. I would pick the milkweed packets for me and my 8 year old son. He has high functioning autism and we’ve raised and released over 60 monarchs. Due to our last rental, we were not able to do any of that, but now that we moved, we now have a place to plant and an enclosed patio to safely harbor the cocoons. I have countless pictures of my son holding a monarch. It has taught him to appreciate nature. Thanks for the opportunity.

I had a hard time choosing between the butterfly night light and the butterfly books because both are great for our next generation of butterfly lovers. But the butterfly night light is my favorite because it’s personalized and unique and would give comfort and hopefully a love of butterflies to any of the little ones.
While I think the seeds would be great, I currently only have the yard space for the milkweed I currently have. Instead I would opt for the Taylor Swift inspired sweater! They are two things I love combined into one, so I think it’s perfect. Plus having a butterfly sweater will give me a little bit of spring vibes during the cold winter.

I most love the milkweed seeds. I have only one type of milkweed in my garden and have been adding native plants each year. I would appreciate the new varieties of milkweed nearly as much as the Monarchs. I love the packages the seeds come in and would put them on stakes and cover them in an outdoor clear varnish and would include them in the garden.

As I scrolled, I first thought I’d like the Peace on Earth long sleeve, because it reminds me of the butterfly migration and coming together in Mexico.
But then I got to the seed packs – THAT is the gift I would most like to receive! I didn’t even know milkweed seeds existed, outside of seed pods😉. I have only grown one type, by digging up plants from my parents yard ( no easy feat). I can’t wait to try more varieties!
